Hello Fellow Employees,
We trust that you are making the most out the current situation and this has not put too much stress on you and your families. As Governors Brown and Inslee begin to loosen social distancing guidelines, we are seeing our businesses gradually spring back to life. Some employees are being brought back on a part-time or full-time basis dependent on business volume. This is still a fluid and unpredictable timeline, so the staggering of returning employees will most likely continue.
Some of you may have heard that CoHo’s main office is moving. This was something we were considering in 2019 and before to reduce costs. In fact, we had a “workplace of the future” taskforce looking at the changes taking place in the worksite working on this and other tactics long before the coronavirus hit us. This epidemic has allowed us to practice virtual work arrangements with confidence, and so we have placed part of our office space up for a sublease. But neither CoHo Services, nor CoHo Reservations is going away. Actually, we see attractive opportunities to expand in the future, especially in CoHo Res.
Unless large groups are allowed to gather, however, it’s unlikely we’ll return to pre-covid19 business levels. While we are optimistic about the future, we will be responsible and ramp up as demand allows. We appreciate your patience in this process. Feel free to reach out to hr@cohoserv.com with any questions you may have.
